Children ages 4-6 and their caregivers will measure objects using non-standard measurement. Community Room

Standard units are common units of measurement such as inches, pounds and pints. Non-standard units of measurement might include steps, hand spans, cubes, counters, or sweets. Early learners can grasp the concept of measurement by using familiar units. Children and their caregivers will use non-standard units to measure familiar objects.
