Troubleshooting

If your device won't connect try:

  1. Forgetting the network
  2. Typing a non-https:// url into your browser. For example: http://bclibrary.org

Please note some devices will not connect to our wifi due to age or security standards.

Hotspots

For Boulder City residents, the Library has 15 mobile hotspots to check out.

These devices will give you internet anywhere there is T-Mobile coverage.

The hotspots check out for 2 weeks and cannot be renewed. Please call us (293-1281) to be added to the request list.

You must be 18+ and a Boulder City Resident to check out a hotspot.

There is a limit of one per household and you cannot be on the request list while having a device checked out.

Please let the librarian know you’d like to be added to the list when returning the hotspot.

Please note there are fines ($5 a day) for these devices as they are in high demand.
