Join Alex Lu author of the Kibble Farm early graphic novel series for readings and fun activities at 10:30am or 3:00pm, he will also be tabling in the rotunda in between! Community Room.

Alex Lu loves to imagine stories about his cats, Duckie and Dini. An animator by day and author/illustrator by night, he created Kibble Farm to inspire early readers to pursue life's many curiosities and help them through the twists and turns that may follow.

Kibble Farm is a children’s book series that introduces foundational perspectives on curiosity, nature, and empathy to early readers. Dini is a sweet and hardworking kibble farmer who can connect with any creature, big or small. His brother, Duckie, is a one-eyed smarty-pants trying to unravel the secrets of the universe.

Together, they ask life’s big questions, such as how to overcome your fears and how to find love, as well as life’s smaller questions, like whether cats can lay eggs or if shaking a cow just right can make butter.
